COURSE OVERVIEW
Students at NAHA are provided education in many aspects of the homebuilding industry, some examples of our course content are:

Construction Math &
Blueprint Reading
Learn commonly used math formulas necessary for construction, as well as learn and demonstrate competency in blueprint reading. Projects in our training lab combine both of these skills.

Basic Safety
Learn proper safety procedures needed to work on a professional job site. Participants are able to earn an HBAA Safety 6 Certification at no cost.

Hand & Power Tools
Learn identification and demonstrate competency in using a variety of hand and power tools commonly used in the homebuilding industry such as speed square, chalk line, miter saw, and pneumatic nail guns.

Career & Resume Prep
Gain access to resume building help, mock interviews, job application assistance, and more!

Job Fairs
Participate in a job fair at our Academy to speak with several hiring employers in one night.
Participants will spend the final portion of the course focusing on basic skills and competency needed for a specific trade of their choice. NAHA currently offers specializations in Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing
