2024-2025 Plumbers & Gas Fitters Journeyman Prep Program

Purpose: To give individuals with a current Alabama Plumbers Apprentice Card the educational resources to pass the state journeyman exam and to reduce the required apprenticeship from two years to one year.

Dates: August 21, 2024 – May 21, 2025 (36 Classes meeting Wednesdays 6:00-9:00 p.m.) 

​

Cost: $1,250 per student (3% service charge if paying with debit or credit card)

​

Class Size: Class will be limited to 12 students. Enrollment will be on a first come, first served basis. 

​

Location: North Alabama Homebuilding Academy, 3219 Long Avenue SW, Huntsville, AL 35805 

Class Benefits:

  • Allows graduates to sit for the Journeyman exam after 1 full year working experience. 

  • 2 class code review classes taught by representative of the Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitters Examining Board. 

  • Copy of the ICC Plumbing Code Book and the ICC Fuel Gas Code Book provided for each student

  1. Print and complete this Registration Form and the Student Handbook

  2. Submit registration form, student handbook, and copy of Alabama Plumbers Apprentice Card via email (tommy.davis@nahacad.org), mail, or in person at NAHA, located at 3219 Long Ave SW, Huntsville, AL 35805

  3. Submit payment by mailing a check to NAHA, delivering a check* in-person to NAHA, or by paying online** via the link below.
